PINK RIBBON , day 1

Day one
of my "usual" Pinktober Challenge
to be aware of breast cancer that affects so many women
(and men !)
selling Textile Jewels to support the  PINK RIBBON foundation
which needs funds for research into new treatments
for breast cancer patients and quality aftercare.

One in every seven women has a chance to get
diagnosed for breast cancer
That is a lot of people !

Much to my regret I have such physical problems right now
that it will be hard to make a Textile Jewel
every day
(I hope to manage one in every two days)

So here is my PINK RIBBON Textile Jewel
for day 1 :

A felt and fabric brooch
stitched with silk, rayon and cotton
and some seed beads

(4.5 cm,  1.8")
