day 16

I was VERY busy stitching today

because I go to the hairdresser tomorrow

(in Rotterdam) and will visit a dear friend

at the same time

....

so needed to be sure I have something

for tomorrow too !

When autumn is particularly wet and gray

it's nice to think a bit about a tropical beach ???

The PINK RIBBON Textile Jewel

for day 16 :

a wet felted hollow brooch with silk and sequins inside,

stitched with floss, rayon and lustrous sewing thread

and more sequins and seed beads.
