almost .....

The end of September

means for me that it's almost October :

PINK RIBBON month

It is also my 9th blogaversary

but like last year there will be no giveaway

because PINK RIBBON is eating

all of my energy

(but I promise ... next year : 10 ... I will)

Though I'm busy with some felting preparations

it's not easy this year.

Back ache causes me to do things quietly

BUT

I hope I will be able to make a jewel every day ... 

(if not, sorry, then I'll have to skip one or two)

19 - 9 - 19 (forgot again ...)

I knew this would happen :

that I forgot the funny-date-post ...

(that happens when your life isn't ruled anymore by work and dates)

Last Sunday, daughter and I went to the Textile Biannual

in Rijswijk

(till Sunday October 6)

We visit that lovely small (old and new) museum

in a town that has grown into

our government city The Hague.

(bonus : there was also a small textile market that day !)

(sorry didn't find all the names ...)

We had a lovely day together

and I can only say that there was some beautiful work

BUT

it was for us (!)

not the WOW-factor that we experienced other years

That can happen

This was a SUNNY day

(in more than one way !)

Saturday early morning traffic is low :

it took us only one hour to the

"GRIETMARKT"

Someone had cancelled, so the stall

between us and our next neighbour was empty

and we were allowed to divide that space between us.

(some welcome extra space, easily filled !)

Ready for the customers to arrive !

The sun shining, the stall filled,

so just time to do a quick round at the market

and greet some lovely people we met last year.

This market is such a happy mix of artistic and ecological products.

(with a welcome of the organization

with coffee / tea and something sweet !)

Lots of people came by during the day.

I talked and explained a lot about the things I make.

I received lots of compliments,

and I had wonderful new

and even some "old" customers

THANK  YOU  all very much !!!

I hope you enjoy the things you bought, for a loooong time !

And imagine this :

when we came home

our daughter had made us a wonderful dinner !

Eco and Art market (Amerongen)

YES

next week we will be at the wonderful

GRIETMARKT

again.

Last year it was a really great experience

so our hopes are high

that this good organisation and these lovely people

will give us a "home" once more.

I will take my textile jewels,

felted birds and felted accessories,

the little pouches I made a few weeks ago

and some gouache paintings.

A "rainbow" of colours !

(ha, totally "me" of course)
