(birth) day 14

Man's birthday !

(though we will be having the party next week)

So the day was quiet enough

to do some shopping in R'dam,

and knitting (St'nB) ,

and some stitching on textile beads on the boat.

In the afternoon time to stitch
on one of my wet felted circles.

The PINK RIBBON Textile Jewel for day 14

A turquoise and sea green felted circle brooch,

a spiral stitched in silk,

some seed beads

and sequins to add some sparkle.

When I was in a shop in R'dam

there were these fun wooden numbers :

these two were just hanging there together ...

Coincidence ???

Yes,

there is a birthday boy !

Ahhhh nice age : 37

(or .... was it the other way round ???)

Anyway we had a rather quiet day,

with all the grandchildren

and pancakes in the end.

But the real party is this Sunday.

Because Jude, in her small journeys, is talking

about the "her" nine patch

it apparently rubs off !

Here is my Pink Ribbon mandala for day number fourteen
