A dreary day
with drizzle or real rain

(well they have to do, nothing I can do to improve)

day 29

Sometimes things work out as you think they will
and sometimes they don't.
I had two shapes for a pendant
(which should co together)
but it just wasn't right.
So a slight change of plans
which results that I'm happy how it turned out now !

(taking pictures in bad daylight can be a problem
but certain colours are ALWAYS a problem for my camera :
dark blues and purple,
NEVER how they are in real life)

  20 - 10 - 20  

Today was a day that needed a bit of sunshine
Some rain . . . dry again
some rain . . . dry again
on and on all day long.

So a really good day to make something bright !
Sunshine reminds me of fields with Rapeseed or Canola
(of the Brassica family)
that brighten up spring so lovely

day 19

Autumn
is the time to wear my socks again.
And of course these are homemade socks !
(nothing better to keep your feet warm !)
A sweater and a pair of jeans
to complete the whole picture.

A few years ago I did an indigo-workshop
and I thought I would be able to dye lots of stuff
But, alas, only time and room for a few things.
(unfortunately it never came to my OWN vat . . .)
Ohhhh how I love that magic moment when the cloth
comes out of the vat :
from a yellowy-green it turns
to a wonderful
BLUE

Though the sea isn't very far from here
it's been quite a while that I've been there.
With my nose to the sand
I'm always looking for things of beauty on the beach.

Bur what I really miss there
(because we only have sand beaches)
is sea glass !
The colour, the shape 
and the hazy shine of it . . .
I would love to find that.

When I made my tiny felted pieces last week
I made two in the same colour :
one the normal size
and one really tiny
and it just worked out well.
they obviously belong together !
