Two-thirds of this October

"challenge-month" gone.

I must say, I still have enough ideas !

Today is Friday :

"fish on Friday"

I started with a circle, but then switched to the fish.

We even ate fish on Friday : pieces of salmon in risotto !

day 20

A cloudy day with a few drops of rain.

Every day it is a surprise

(also for me)

what colour will be used

for the next Textile Jewel.

All kind of pieces of felt are lying on the table,

on some of them, a circle or a square.

It depends on the day or my mood what piece I pick.

Today we could use a bit of heat

(the heating was on and yes : later this afternoon I went in the sauna,

we're lucky to have one in the house !)

Another real autumn day :

wind, clouds, some rain and later :

sunshine !!!

Sunshine to make pictures of today's jewel.

A Textile Jewel, fit for an autumn day.

I finally managed to finish this one.

I started it some days earlier

but couldn't find the last bits to complete it :

little bits of wood,

but none was to my liking,

until today.

day 18

I was stitching all of this morning.

For some of the work I even used the day-light lamp.

When I had to do some shopping in the afternoon

there were clouds

but nothing too serious ...

(I thought)

I visited a friend

in an old school building

but when I came out :

there was a really downpour !!!

(... and no rain coat ...)

BRRRRR

The second half of the month ...

A bit late

but I was working on two jewels.

Then the battery of my camera was empty

...

but I'm still just in time for this day !

Another autumn day, but ...

with sunshine !

The door to the garden was open,

but it was nice stitching behind the glass.

I'm wearing a black and red dress

so here's something that could accompany that.

I've been away to the "Stitch"

(and some shopping and lunch afterwards)

so there was not so much time left to stitch
