day 17, number 9

Because this year's challenge is a bit different,
due to physical discomfort,
than previous years the jewels I create
are a bit different too :
more fabric bits than felt.

For many years I know Hazel
(we met at the beginning of Jude's stitching community)
and I greatly admire her ability to tell tiny "cloth stories"
(hmmm, and she has a way with words too  <3 )

For my new jewel I made a tiny seascape
and in it : one of her boats !

My PINK RIBBON Textile Jewel
number 9 :

a poly felt and fabric brooch
stitched with tiny bits of felt, paper, tulle and seed beads
(6 x 5 cm,  2.4 x 2")
