day 23, number 12

Late, late, late
but what a fun day/evening it was !
A sweet friend of daughter who lives rather far away
came to visit and we all had dinner
and then a movie next
("Wicker" with a wonderful Olivia Colman,
Alexander Skarsgard and Peter Dinklage)

Luckily I had a jewel ready before all this.
Inspired by a photo, taken by "Voyager I" which was launched by NASA in 1977
and had left our solar system, but then the camera was turned around
to make a last picture of the planet it came from, Earth !
And someone said about that :
"a pale blue dot drifting in space"

So here is my PINK RIBBON Textile Jewel
number 12 :

a double sided pendant with felt and fabric,
stitched with cotton, rayon and seed beads
and a glass bead "moon" on a wire necklace
(or if you wish, on an adjustable long cord)
