day 5

Late !

But what a lovely day it was today
at the open studios and art route here !!!
I shared the room (in an old school building)
with a lovely lady that made gorgeous animal portraits
in needle felt (and also stitch)
We had many visitors,
and because it's my hometown,
many old friends and acquaintances.
a really WARM day !

Luckily the Jewel for today was finished before we left this morning
but no time for photos.
And when we came back home this afternoon
daughter and kids were there with dinner !
Just enough time before that to take some pictures . . .

My PINK RIBBON Textile Jewel
for day 5 :

a pair of magenta wet felted earrings.
The inside is more orange (silk fibers) and on the back
is a bigger red dot, some beads at the corners.
(4 cm,  1.6")
