Purple rain ...

purple haze ...

a purple hollow wet felted circle

...

It isn't easy to find really purple (seed) beads

but daughter had some in her stash !

I was happy to use them today.

Here is my PINK  RIBBON  Textile Jewel for day 18

A hollow wet felted circle brooch with sequins inside,

stitched with silk cotton and rayon thread

and many different seed beads in purple and red.

This brooch gives a bright splash of colour

I think this still-going-string Geranium seedling

goes perfectly with today's Jewel

I'm very fond of this one !

And you know what :

it self-seeds very easily !!!

So this one is salvaged in a little pot and will find it's way

to some friend's garden for sure !
