day 9

I started early

making my jewel for today,

because the rest of the day was filled with a special treat :

celebrating something (50)

with a dear old friend : we went to the movie

("Victoria and Abdul")

and had dinner together.

(and laughed and talked about days gone by)

But here it is

my PINK RIBBON Textile Jewel for day 9

Thick wet felted leaf brooch

with water soluble skeleton leaf on top

embroidered with cotton, silk and gold
