day 10

Again I started with some wet felting this morning

(it takes time. even if it's just small pieces)

Later on, a circle of hand dyed felt

was the start of the Jewel.
You don't see a lot of the hand dyed anymore
but it is such fun to start
with something that beautiful.

Here's the PINK RIBBON Textile Jewel

for day  10

a hand dyed flat brooch

stitched with a spiral in silk, rayon and cotton floss

and tiny seed beads

(5 cm , 2")
