Last night the clock went back one hour
that gives us more light in the morning
and less in the evening.
I was lucky that I only needed stitching
the last Textile Jewel
so taking pictures was just okay
(between rain showers)
Ha, went for some leaf picking in the rain too :
nice ones for eco-dyeing !

Though this will be the last jewel for this month

Colours make my day !
In fact it doesn't really matter what colour.
Though I have to admit
that some of my days are red when I get up in the morning
and others are more blue, green  or even yellow !

Always when I see some pictures of sea glass
I'm really envious :
on our sand beaches you won't find
these lovely items. 
I love those green and blueish colours !

Some days I struggle to get my stitching finished in time

(why ? don't know, I just started really early,

The colour of the pictures
isn't quite as it should be :
the wool I used it dark navy blue:
a lovely "night-colour",

LATE, LATE; LATE !
Just finished my jewel for today
because I was away all day !
And what a FUN day it was :
the regional day for our part of the country
of the "VKG"
(Vilt Kontakt Groep)
that is :
the Dutch Felting Association
in Gouda this time.
With about twenty women we worked on the tutorial
"Creative Sparks"
the Canadian felting artist Fiona Durhie did online some months ago.
Not finished by far, so with "homework" back home
(which took a lot longer because of some
major maintenance on a highway tunnel)

So first some tea and a lovely dinner made by Man
before there was time for stitching !

Last night and today we had a guest child
which is always fun.
Though I didn't have much time
because of the stitching,
Granddad is always a good partner for games
(and soaking a bit in the bath tub
is fun as well !)

Sometimes, the stitching takes much more time than you imagine
especially when you're not happy with the first result
so unpicking and stitching anew
is necessary.
