day 8

 Apart from stitching a jewel
 there was another task today :
going to Rotterdam to fetch my sewing machine.
Sadly enough : not repaired !!!
I think a sophisticated machine (of almost 15 years)
should still be working excellent
. . . . .
but with all these electronic gadgets . . .
when something goes wrong,
a whole series of things can go wrong !
And the one important failing part
isn't made anymore !
GRRRRR

But stitching calms you down
especially in blue !

Here is my PINK  RIBBON Textile Jewel for day 8 :

a wet felted hollow pendant with a fabric bead at the top
and mother-of-pearl droplet at the bottom,
stitched with cotton and some sequins and beads
on an adjustable homemade cord.
(9 cm,    3.55")
