day 31 : the VERY LAST Pink Ribbon day !

I did another "double decker",
similar to the jewel of day 11
only in different colours.
It is still special
that you can create so many different shapes with felt !

When stitching on the jewels
it is fun to use different coloured threads
together in one needle.
Though it IS annoying that those threads
easily catch onto the sequins and beads that are already in place.
but I think the end result is very rewarding !

My VERY  LAST
PINK  RIBBON  Textile Jewel for day 31 :

a wet felted double brooch with a tiny felted disc and ball in the middle,
stitched with cotton, rayon and metallic thread
and sequins and seed beads
(6 cm,   2.4")

When stitching with multiple threads
you have to move carefully
and NOT to use too long threads . . .


Hmmmmm, SO good if it turns out
you have JUST enough thread
to reach the last stitch !
